CALPHAD(International Conference on Computer Coupling of Phase Diagrams and Thermochemistry)

This conference is held annually and began with the first CALPHAD conference at MIT 50 years ago. In 2023, the 50th-anniversary conference was held in Boston. CALPHAD currently publishes Calphad through Elsevier, and commercial software such as ThermoCalc and FactSage has been developed and is widely used in the field of materials engineering.

ICT/ACT(International Conference on Thermoelectrics (ICT) and Asian Conference on Thermoelectrics (ACT))

The International Conference on Thermoelectrics (ICT) is the premier global conference dedicated to thermoelectric science and technology. Held annually, ICT serves as a key platform for researchers, engineers, and industry professionals to present and discuss the latest advancements in thermoelectric materials, devices, and applications. The conference covers a broad range of topics, including fundamental thermoelectric physics, novel materials, device performance, and industrial applications in energy harvesting, cooling, and power generation. ICT is organized under the auspices of the International Thermoelectric Society (ITS) and rotates among different continents, fostering international collaboration and innovation in the thermoelectrics community.

The Asian Conference on Thermoelectrics (ACT) is a regional academic conference held annually to promote thermoelectric research and development in Asia. This workshop is held alternately in Korea and Japan each year and aims to bring together scientists and engineers from both countries to gain insight into the latest developments in science and technology related to ironmaking, steelmaking, environmental sustainability, and eco-processes. It also provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and opinions on innovative, creative, and challenging processes.
