Introduction
7th International Conference on Modelling and Simulation of Metallurgical Processes in Steelmaking (STEELSIM2017) will be held on August 16-18, 2017 in Qingdao, China. STEELSIM is a serial international conference which has been held every two years since 2005.
Nowadays, the important role of modelling and simulation of metallurgical processes has achieved worldwide acknowledgement, especially in optimizing technological processes, reduce production costs and increase steel quality. Powerful computational methods provide an in-depth understanding of experimental findings and guide further experimental work. Modelling and simulation promise possible solutions, even breakthroughs, for the development of steel industry in future.
Steelsim2017 will be an excellent venue for the academia, researchers and engineers all around the world to exchange state-of-the-art development and information on issues related to modelling and simulation of metallurgical processes. We kindly invite you to participate in this meaningful conference and are looking forward to meeting you in the beautiful summer – the best season in Qingdao.
