MS&T is the leading forum addressing structure, properties, processing and performance across the materials community. Attendees learn from materials specialists, explore diverse materials applications, and experience the synergy of this materials community.

MS&T crosses the boundaries of most materials events by bringing together a broad range of technical sessions and expertise through the strengths of six major materials organizations: The American Ceramic Society, Association for Iron & Steel Technology, ASM International, The Metallurgy and Materials Society of CIM, The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society and NACE International The Corrosion Society.

For 2013, proposed theme areas include but are not limited to:
• Biomaterial Technology
• Ceramic and Glass Materials
• Corrosion Control and Sustainability
• Electronic and Magnetic Materials
• Environmental and Energy Issues
• Fundamentals and Characterization
• Iron and Steel
• Materials Performance
• Nanotechnology
• Processing and Product Manufacturing
• Special Topics
